Should I transfer to Surrey or stay at City for Psychology?

Hi there sorry for the length of this post,

I'm currently a 1st year student at City St George's for psychology and in the beginning of the academic year I was seriously depressed about going to City as I really wanted to go outside London for Uni (and because I have only really made 2 surface level friends), so I applied to Uni of Surrey to transfer in my 2nd year (so that I wouldn't waste my student finance and have to pay twice by reapplying for first year). I got a conditional offer from Surrey if I get a 2:1 or above in my 1st year which I think I can do, but is it worth it to go if I do get in? I have volunteering and work commitments in London so I would probably still have to stay in London and commute (also so I can keep using my student oyster).
I know it's a better course overall even though ranking are not that trustworthy, but I don't know if I should just stick it out here or commute to Surrey, but I'm afraid that commuting to a campus uni in my second year will make it even harder to make friends on top of everything else.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
You have time to decide. Accept your Surrey offer for now. You don’t commit to one or the other until august/September when enrolment opens.

Accepting your offer doesn’t commit you to enrolling it just keeps that option open to you.

Accept it and focus on your studies for now and then take some time in the summer to make a decision. Try out the commute for a few days etc etc, visit campus/go to open days etc
