I don't want my wife or her family celebrating my birthday with me

Or I will be uncomfrotable
The last time, i welcomed a woman not known to wife and family to announce my birthday to others which felt nice. I'm considering this again.
I celebrate it best with people external to my wife and family and cannot have them involved in any way. I risk exploding on whatsapp call as my wife previously would let them call without my consent. Last year I told her it overwhelms me.
What can you suggest?
