alevel aqa sociology predictions

hello, just wanted to ask if anyone knows what topics came up in paper 1 last year, i’m tryna work out most likely topics and i can’t find 2024 paper i think it isn’t released. also any predictions thanks.

hey there, so the 30 marker last year was on marxist views on education and both 10 markers were on girls/feminism. the 20 marker was on overt observation + subcultures
my biggest prediction is that the 30 marker this year will be on the impact of social policies on education (as it's never come up before). i've seen a few people say they think functionalism will come up instead but i don't think they'd make the 30 marker on structuralist theories two years in a row
i think expect something on ethnicity for the smaller questions - hasn't come up in a while

the 2024 paper hasn't been officially released to the public, but you can find it on last year's paper 1 forum if you do some digging lol
as for globalisation coming up, i definitely wouldn't rule out the possibility as of course anything is possible. saying that, i think it's unlikely since i don't think there are enough points to be made on the subject in relation to education for it to be considered for the 30 marker
plus, the last time globalisation came up in paper 1 (it was a 4 marker), the examiners' report said that the question was generally poorly answered. so idk if they'd be mean enough it set it for a 30 marker!
don't take my word as gospel though - again anything is possible!!
