Hi!
I took Higher Modern Studies in 2022 so I’m a bit out of the loop for this year’s predictions unfortunately lol (: - but I’d definitely say it’s worth doing timed practice essays using the most recent past papers on the SQA website, It really helps you get used to writing to a good standard within the timeframe you’ll have in the exam.
Also, I really recommend handing your essays in to your teacher to be marked- the SQA marking schemes are great for guidance but they don’t cover every possible way you could gain marks. Getting proper feedback means you can see where you're dropping marks and how to fix it!
Best of luck for the exam!! -crashing a subject is a challenge but absolutely doable (:
