Final year potential failed module

I had an exam on Tuesday (one of my final exams) and had a huge panic attack during it. I’ve submitted a PEC with supporting evidence from my disability support advisor, which hopefully will get approved, but I’m not even sure I passed the exam because of how much it affected my performance. I have a stage average of a first this year so far, and I’m still waiting to get grades back from some modules but they are predicted firsts in all of them, but I’m worried that 1 exam will mess me up.

Am I likely to be given a pass even if I’ve failed that module because of my performance in the rest of my modules and my PEC (if it gets approved)? I’m worried I will have to resit that module which might mean I’m not able to graduate or start my masters in September.

And if I did pass would they be likely to give me a final degree classification of a first because of my PEC? Even if it did push me down into the average 68% range although without that module it would’ve been close to a 70 or be a 70?

I doubt you will have to resit and not graduate. I am sure messing up one exam hasn't led you to fail that entire module. Even if it was waited at 100% you are averaging at a first in other modules so don't worry. Focus on what you can control, you've done the hardest part now.

It was a 10 credit module with the exam weighting 100% of the grade. I guess I’m just worried that if I’ve failed a module they won’t let me graduate

My boyfriend failed a 10 credit module in second year and still graduated because he had passed overall. I wouldn't worry as it is only 10 credits. You have 110 to redeem yourself which it sounds like youve done.
