Can you practise law in London with a degree in Scots Law?

My daughter is deciding between Edinburgh and Queen Mary for a degree in law. It's been difficult for her to decide which choice will be best for her career. Will she have to do an extra year converting her Scots law degree in order to work as a solicitor in London? If so, what will the cost be?
Queen Mary's program is 3 years with the opportunity to do a year in practise with a London law firm which is very appealing meanwhile Edinburgh is the standard 4 year course (not including a year in practise).
Her heart has been set on Edinburgh for a while now but she says she'll be happy to go to Queen Mary if she's confident it'll be the right choice for her career. Any advice would be much appreciated
