UCAS withdrawn application

Hey, So previous months like January - February 2025 everyone was applying for universities via UCAS and I wasnt considering going University so my College Withdrew my application. Now, I want to attend university but in my ucas application it says "Application status
Centre information
Application linked to
Derby College

Group
WITHDRAWN FROM 2025 ENTRY CYCLE"

So, I asked chatgpt and he said "If your UCAS application for the 2025 cycle is withdrawn, you can still reapply, but it depends on the timing and the reason for the withdrawal.

Here are the key details:

1. If you withdrew it yourself or it was withdrawn early in the cycle:
You can submit a new application for the same cycle as long as it’s before the deadline (e.g., 30 June 2025 for most undergraduate courses).

You may need to create a new UCAS account if the system doesn’t let you reuse the withdrawn one.

2. If your application was withdrawn after the final deadlines:
You cannot reapply for the 2025 cycle if all deadlines have passed.

However, you might still be able to find a place through UCAS Extra (if eligible) or Clearing (starting July 2025)."

So if anyone could help me, Please. I request all of you guys. Thank you.

Step 1) Completely disregard anything spat out by ChatGPT, especially when you can just go to the primary source.

Step 2 ) Read the “Cancellations and Withdrawals” section on the following page. In particular the last three bullet points in that section.

https://www.ucas.com/applying/after-you-apply/making-changes-your-application-after-you-apply#cancellations-and-withdrawals
If you withdrew your application then ring UCAS. They can reinstate it for you.

Everything has been cleared up. I asked my college's ucas teacher and she said they can reinstate my application. PHEW!! Thanks for replying though.

Hi kunal0,

I can understand that this must be stressful for you, but don't worry! You can still apply!
In this case, if the course of your choosing is still accepting applications, you can still apply. You could tell your teachers that you want to go to university & request for them to reapply for you (if that is possible). If not, then you would have to apply through clearing.

Are you familiar with clearing?

What universities are you looking to apply for & what courses?

I can assist you further!

Don't hesitate to reach out!

Kind regards,
