Russian Studies with History or Politics at Edinburgh?

I've been looking at potentially applying to Edinburgh for some time now, as I have been very intrigued in their Russian Studies course. However, I am unsure on whether to pair it with History or Politics, both subjects I greatly enjoy and take at A-Level. Therefore, I was wondering from anyone currently taking a Politics/History course or even perhaps Russian Studies, what your opinions are on them and what you prefer out of the two? Thank you for any advice you can give!!!

honestly, just go with what you find interesting! it makes uni so much more enjoyable. All these options would pair well with each other and realistically if they didn't it shouldn't stop you as it's not like modules interconnect in anyway. Even in second year if you find yourself leaning more towards one than the other you can just take more modules in that course or switch to a pure degree.
