Doctoral loan application

In the application for doctoral loan, in Section 4, in question 4.26 (For the three years before the first day of the first academic year of your course, have you had a form of limited, discretionary or other temporary leave to enter or remain in the UK?)
I don't know if I should answer NO or YES.
No you may still be able to get student finance, see notes for more information.
Yes provide the date this status is due to expire:
I am a EU student and have Settled Status aka Indefinite Leave to Remain since 2022, meaning there is no limit in staying in the UK. But it is stated also that I can remain outside the UK for 5 years without affecting my status.

Do I then need to reply YES to this question and provide 2027 as an expiry date?

Hi there,

You don't need to fill that section out. You only need to fill the parts that it is relevant. If you have settled status it does say go to 4.27 so only fill the relevant sections. Thanks, Jason
