There are NO required A level subjects for Law. Most people fin that an essay-based subject is useful for skills, but it is not essential.

It therefore makes sense to pick 3 subjects that you will enjoy studying, and where you feel confident of 3 strong grades. Do not worry about what think 'looks good' - Unis really do not care about subjects, they are just interested in good grades.

There are no required subjects for law, so as long as you will enjoy and get good grades in the subjects you've picked, I'd stick with them.

Psychology and law are really strong subject choices for law, so I wouldn't worry about them. And then your third (+ fourth) A-level subject(s) can 100% be a bit less related to law. And, maths and economics can definitely be argued to be useful for law, too.

Whilst having an essay-based subject can be useful for those wanting to pursue law, it's not a guarantee or necessary. If you do decide that you want to take English Lit instead, I'd swap it with maths or economics since they're not as relevant to Law. However, think about what you're going to enjoy and get a better grade in. If you think you'll get a better grade in maths or economics than you will English, then don't switch them.

I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask me. 😊

they're not as relevant to Law

Please see my post above. A levels do not need to have any tenuous relevance to Law.
There are no 'preferred' subjects.

I realise that, and that's what I said. Yet, there are still some subjects that teach skills that prospective law students may find useful.

What I said agreed with your post, I just also brought another angle to the discussion, so I do not understand why you are seemingly annoyed with me or my information.

There really isn't a need to switch if you are already doing an essay-based subject. There really isn't much of an advantage to doing 4 A-levels, it is much better to do 3 and do well in them rather than do 4 and get lower grades.
