Music business degree requirements

Hi I was wondering if you need any specific a levels to take music business or event management degrees? I take history a level, film a level and media btec which I know are not music related but I’m really interested in music business, managements and event planning.

Are you sure that you wouldn't be better to do either of these as an apprenticeship?

I agree with Flamingo10. You don't need a degree to work in event management. I suspect, the biggest help with working in music will be connections in the music industry.

I did my undergrad in Events Management, and also have 12 years of experience as an events manager - while an apprenticeship is a good way to get into doing events, I'd argue that doing it at degree level also gives you a super flexible degree that covers business, hospitality, food, HR, management, etc, which gives you a massive number of options in future careers

If you choose the right university you can get those connections at university. I don't think there are many, if any, apprentiships in this area.
