Durham law clearing…does it exist?

I have a firm offer for Durham, but my friend who had a weak LNAT believes she can get into Durham through clearing? I have tried to kindly explain to her that it’s likely there wont be clearing and if there is, they are likely to take a student with a greater academic record? But im unsure whether im correct or not!? please someone lmk!!

I don’t actually know, but I’d imagine it’s unlikely with it being such a popular course at a good uni. I also have a firm Durham offer for law x

Clearing at Durham for Law would be very difficult, what is her LNAT? I have a firmed offer for durham law myself and I've been told that if there are clearing places, they often go to international students.

Thought so, her LNAT was 21.

We won't know until July 5th at the earliest.

If the course is closed now, (you can check this on UCAS), then it is very, very unlikely.

If you haven’t resolved this issue yet, it may be worth noting that only Liverpool and perhaps one or two other Russell Groups were in clearing for law last year( and likely the 5 before that).

Durham have rejected applicants with 3 achieved A*s and an LNAT of 25 this year, which implies they have no shortage of competitive applications, meaning they’ll likely have secured all bases to avoid clearing on Results Day.

I hope this is useful.

Thanks for the reply, she has an offer from Liverpool, so I think she’ll accept that and just forget clearing, Thank you!
