should I just give up? (mpharm)

I really wanted to get into UCL or KCL for MPharm, however I only got 6s in my GCSES and one 7, should I just give up or do I still stand a chance if my personal statement is amazing and I have high predicted grades?

yeah, that’s my plan B, it’s still decent but idk I guess I’ve just romanticised the idea of getting into a RG london uni and now i’ve set my mind to it. also I think I would enjoy it a lot more as the standard of teaching is a lot higher

yeah i understand, but my friend does Mpharm at reading and i visited with her on open day it was a nice university ngl. But you still have a high chance at getting in, check the entry requirements before applying. Next year they are no longer using personal statements too

They’ll still be a personal statement, it’s just the format that’s changing.

did the students seem nice and did the campus/area look aesthetically pleasing? also has your friend mentioned anything about how she finds the teaching there or student support? your responses are much appreciated 😊

I think u still have a rlly solid chance at a few medschools but you could always go for a biomedical science degree instead and then go for pharmacy after it might be an easier transition and I've heard some people do that

As long as a level and ps is good you should be okay! I applied with one 8 a few 7s and the rest were 6s 5s and a 4 and I was still okay, not for UCL and Kings but all other russel groups. Good luck

Yh bro totally but only if u rlly smash your predicted grades exams. KCL seems to quite easily give out interviews.
