just a small amount from what ive seen - my aunt failed her a levels (like all of them) so retook and then got into dental therapy and hygiene with i think an A and two B's? its definitely feasible but she had to go out of london for it, and this was a few years ago. So take that with a pinch of salt, and if you've already applied to dental therapy and hygiene whats the harm?

But, also think realistically about why you want to do dental therapy and hygiene. You could easily start as a dental nurse to increase your chances of acceptance into a dental therapy and hygiene course, but then you wanted to go to qatar? Im not sure if you could do that with dth, rather than teaching.

If you're set completely on dth then go for it, but just know its gonna be hard and if youre not TOTALLY into it id say pick something else.

Hey there!

I would check with universities as if they say they are happy to accept resits, this means they usually won’t hold it against you in any way ! Some may have restrictions for resist such as sitting them all within the same academic year so I would check with them! This way you know for sure and can make an informed decision.

I hope this helps ,
