If you're a book girlie, go to your local park and read. If not, just grab your coat and go out for an hour or two. Don't go to the high street because that's overstimulating (especially if you may be neurodivergent). Go to the park, sit on a bench, and just relax. Forget about your exams, think about your future, and take deep breaths. Then maybe you can do some light revision. I hope this helps. Also results are not the end of the world. (Y11 or 13?)

hey queen, don't forget this is just a small portion of your life and no matter what, put yourself first. i suffer with a really bad attention span, and for me videos work a treat, and there are tonnes on youtube so just scroll till you find one that works for you. when watching, make a COLOURFUL mindmap on some blank paper just to reinforce what you're learning. also, try to hydrate yourself with anything, from water to squash or juice or something fizzy. also, with the sugar craving, i find having a bag of small sweets helps - my favs are candy kittens or haribo gummy bears. also with burnout, i love the pomodoro technique and personally use the study with me ai character ones on youtube (e.g. elle woods/ gilmore girls/ blair waldorf studying with cute music in the background and they encourage you in the breaks) it sounds a bit silly but trust me it works. good luck im sure you will smash it. burnout comes from working hard so dont worry x

Try to do some stretching every morning and evening - it can only take like 5 minutes - to try and loosen up or relax your muscles.
To help sugar cravings - try eating more fruit however I did that but it didn't work HOWEVER, one fruit that did work was eating Medjool Dates. I buy them from Sainsburys and they have a sort of caramel flavor to them. They're so incredibly rich and I have a massive sweet tooth so I was surprised when it solved my craving. Yes it doesn't help the cravings go away but at least you're eating dates and not sweets yk?
Go for a walk - even if it's just getting a coffee and reading a textbook in a shop, it's nice to get out the house and have a change of scenery.
I would try setting up reminders for drinking more water, or go to bed and drink a whole bottle (which is what I usually do if I didn't drink enough lol. Why do you think your lazy with it?
I'm often quite tired too - is there a possibility you could have something like an iron deficiency?

exercise works very well for me. i feel energised and stuff so make sure you exercise and try not to eat too much fast food. if you start exercising, it gives your body some hormones or smthn and they make you feel happy. also seeing results is quite great as well. its easy to get into exercising and also allows you to have something to look forward to at the end of the day or whenever you do it. as well as this, try to take short and frequent breaks when revising, walk around after say 30 minutes or so instead of doing big blocks of revision.

in conclusion, exercising really helps

yeah I’ve been feelings tired and weak lately, which I suspect is due to iron deficiency. I usually just take vitamin gummies but they ran out. You’re so right about the dates - i have them stocked up in my kitchen but I only eat it around Ramadan time which I know is quite silly. I will definitely eat them more frequently though! Also, I don't drink enough water because I'm conscious of the need to pee. (it breaks my wudhu :erm:)

Apart from that, those are great suggestions, I’ll be happy to implement it.

I used to be really fit but exam szn got me lounging around. And yes, an increase in dopamine levels (the hormone you’re describing) does lead to feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment. I’ll try my best not to be so lazy and do some daily exercises, thanks.
