How late is too late for funding

Hey,

So, I'm starting college in August, and my college provides funding. However, I am anxious about receiving funding as i don't want to have to pay out of pocket. I should probably mention that my college is based in scotland

you can defo still apply now and should be fine - is might just be delayed in getting first payment. I applied late last year in late August foe starting in later September and I just got two months payment at once when I started.

ah right, sorry to misunderstand. I'm still slightly confused though, you college is funding your course but your worried about it not being enough? You can still get SAAS for living costs with a privately funded college - should explain it in detail somewhere on their website and can apply now.

ah I see, do you know when you find out wether they approve your funding? Have a look at the SAAS website and see if you're eligible for funding through there in the meantime. You can apply at any point there may just be delays in receiving it however. Im sure if you explain to the college then they would wait till you have received this to start requesting payments.
