Combined science grading

If I'm failing chemistry but sure to get a 4 in biology and physics if not higher will my double grade be 4-4?

I think a 4-3 is a passing grade, and they add up all of your marks so they are all equally weighted. If you could scrape a 4 on chem you'd defo pass, however it just depends on the grade boundaries and how well you do on bio and phys (if u get a 4,5,6 etc.) Good luck and just do the best you can without worrying about your grade at this stage!

Im assuming you're doing higher, Combined trilogy and AQA. You'll need around 93 marks for grades 4,4. I checked the pas grade boundaries, 93 in 2024, 99 in 2023, 89 in 2022. So I speculate the biggest change they'll do is 10 marks up or down. so 109/420 for an almost gauranteed grade 4,4. So 19/80 for each exam. 20/80 to be safe. or 27/80 in biology and physics in each paper and you're safe.
