Newcastle University Application and general questions about newcastle

I applied to Newcastle University rather late, but they are meant to be my firm choice. Despite my late application, I have been so agitated cause i have not received any feedback. I have made an enquiry. I have even sent a mail. All the threads I have read are about accommodations, so I feel really behind. I am also scared that when I do get accepted(speaking positively) the accommodation I set my eyes on will be completely booked.
can anyone share how long it took to hear back. And are international scholarships still available?
It has been giving me sleepless nights. I also wonder about the fashion in newcastle. Are there thrift shops or generally good clothing shops to get stylish clothes at affordable rates?
I also would love to know how interesting the scene is. I have always wanted to school in a lively town with lots to do and foods to try, lately i have questioned if that's newcastle
i would love to hear from anyone. Thank you
And how is the diversity in Newcastle. I also hear that the job market can be very tight. will it be hard to find a part time job as an international student? I ended up jumbling so many questions😂 but thank you so much in advance
