worried about not getting into firm choice (medicine)

i’m currently super worried about not getting into my firm choice for medicine, i’m sitting my A levels rn (only done 1 psych paper) but i keep having nightmares about not getting in. i feel like it’s more important for me as my firm choice is medicine and with other degrees you can always do the same one, just at a different uni through clearing but that’s harder for medicine/ not possible. Can any uni students assist me or tell me that it’s normal to feel this way because my friends don’t seem to be stressing about this.

i’m not a uni student - i’m in the same situation as you - but honestly i feel exactly the same way. i’m so stressed that i’ve put in so much work to get to this stage and i’m going to fail at the final hurdle, but at the same time i’m struggling to study due to laziness/burnout or a mixture of both ig.
hopefully we both get into our firm!! 🤞 🤞
