Anyone else feel so lazy / unmotivated after getting a reduced offer

I put so much effort into getting my dentistry offer and I got a reduced one of ABB as I’m contextual

I’m predicted A*A*A but since getting that offer I’ve been so lazy, I hardly did any revision during or after the easter holidays instead I’ve just been cramming the day before my exams

I think its bcs three family members went hospital so thats why I couldn’t revise much but even now thats all over I still feel so lazy and no sense of urgency to revise for my exams, I think the fact that I’ve never achieved less than ABB in my mocks is also contributing to this bcs its making me unconsciously think that if I can cram the day before and get A/B I’ll be fine in the real thing

Idk why I’m posting this I’m just wondering if anyone can relate, I was more locked in for my GCSEs / UCAS prediction exams, I miss my old self 😭 I’m just always tired now all I want to do is sleep

Sorry to hear that’s about your family members, I hope they’re all ok. I’m in the exact same situation from the grades to missing my old self and wanting to sleep, so yh can definitely relate. There’s nothing much to do than taking it day by day and not beating myself up about it. Good to know someone else feels the same.

Sorry to hear that hope they're okay.

I feel the same way but what helps me is knowing that I have immigrant parents who both dreamed of going to university but couldn't due to civil and had to flee. The millions of kids who would dream to be in your spot in Gaza or in South Sudan and ect. Having the chance to sit your exam is a privilege so if you feel lazy or ect just think about everyone who would want to be in your position.

This is what works for me. Hope it works for you!

Best Wishes for your exams.
