Would i get accepted into the universities i chose with these grades?

Hi, I'm currently in year 12 and have just got my predicted grades of A in maths, B in geography and B in art history. I am looking into studying architecture at Bath or Sheffield, which have entry requirements of AAA and A*AA respectively. Would there be a chance I
would be able to still getting conditional offers from these universities? Or is it most likely that I would have to go through clearing? Thanks.

Its very unlikely that an Architecture course requiring AAA would consider you with ABB - unless you qualify for a lower grade Contextual offer. Also, both these Unis requires formal Art and Design qualification - not Art History.

Many Architecture applicants take a one-year 'Art & Design Foundation Diploma' between school and Uni to hove them a relevant qualification, and to have the best facilities and staff expertise for compiling their portfolio - this is available at numerous local college and some Unis. One example - Foundation Diploma in UAL Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Oxford Brookes University

I have had friends in the course who got in with lower grades and some did not do art at all. Some 2d design some media studies. As long as your portfolio and personal statement is solid and rich then you have a good chance. Of course three As will help you if you get them

Hi!
I would just to quickly add on that i've heard that sheffield are quite lenient, especially if you put them as your firm. If everything else looks good, they may consider you. I think they also accept a grade lower on results day? For example, if they require AAA, they MAY accept you with an AAB on results day? (don't quote me on that- it's just something i've noticed and read about somewhere). I've heard a lot of students got in with a grade lower than their conditional offer- just something to consider
Good Luck!
