HI,
I'm an international student and want to study a Psychology bachelor degree in a BPS acredited uni from the UK. I've narrowed it down to this 2 options. One of the is Derby:
UDO
Pros:
- The program suits me better with its trimestral (10 weeks) module structure. I think It'll be easier to manage because I'll feel like I'm moving forwards constantly.
- Better optional modules. (more aligned with personal taste)
- Less theoretical and scientific.
- Strong emphasis on developing skills for the real world with patients with the use of real case scenarios, role play.
- Price
Cons
- Not many reviews of past students of this online degree.
- Not much information regarding its quality.
Since I found the Derby Online program I'm delighted and much more motivated to commit to an online degree for several years but the lack of online information and reviews is a bit off putting. I've read some mixed reviews on Derby's student experience but I've also read that it really depends on the Degree and method. My other option is OU, which I know has more prestige and experience but I find the program a bit dull and too theoretical and scientific.
Any thoughts on Derby Online? Anyone with experience?
Thanks
