A Level Biology practical Q

Hello!
I will be independently studying A Level Biology (AQA), and the exam centre which I have signed up with includes the practical aspect of the exam.
I am currently in year 11 and it would mean a lot to me if someone could explain this section of the exam.
I will be studying the A-Level content from September onwards so that's why I am not that familiar yet )
But, any guidance would be highly appreciated.
Do I have to carry out the practical? As I will be sitting the exam privately, who will be assessing me? How do I memorise the way the practical is set out?
Also, are there practical components like this is Chemistry and Physics too? - is it similar to Biology and how this section is carried out.

Thank you SO much and apologies if my questions don't make sense haha (I'm very tired! :frown: )

hi i didnt do aqa but if you did a practical in GCSE it will probably be similar to that. Have a look at your specification where there will be possible practicals that can come up. For me, we had a practical with a booklet where we had to conduct a method, write results and a question at the end. On a separate day, we had the write up- asked practical questions, graphs etc. Look at the spec for chem and bio it will say what the possibilities could be.
Hope this helps
