Uni of Sheffield Accommodation (mature)
So I’m currently 21 and will be at UoS in September. I still want a very sociable environment, but I’d also love to be around people more my age. No hate to 18yr olds, just don’t feel I’ll fit in as well.
Is there any lively accommodation that has more of an early 20s crowd?

Endcliffe is where you want to be, you can self select a room but you have to wait for flats to be released

Mostly but it’ll be mixed, if you look at the accommodation booking site you can pick a room and see who else is in the flat but right now there isn’t any Endcliffe/ranmoor rooms left, more will come out some time this or next week

Great to hear you'll be joining UOS this year! I believe when I stayed in Endcliffe there are some blocks dedicated to mature students, so you can still have the lively environment but be sharing with people who you maybe are more similar to. I can't remember exactly which blocks these were so I recommend getting in touch with the accommodation services here: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/accommodation and they will be happy to help!
