Reapplying with deferred offer?

I'm currently a year 13 student who got rejected from dentistry at all 4 unis but I got an offer for dental therapy and hygiene at kings college uni. I still want to do dentistry and I want to reapply again in my gap year after alevels but I've accepted the offer from kings and was wondering if I can defer it for next year, as a back up plan if I don't get into dentistry the second time round. I also want to know if I can still reapply through ucas if I already have a deferred offer for the next academic year. I don't really know how to this would work and would appreciate any advice. Thanks

Once you reapply any deferred offers are lost.

You cannot hold a deferred place and reapply.

You would have to cancel the DHT place before you reapplied - but you could include a repeat application for that DHT course in your new application and its very likely that you would get another offer.
