I did the same modules! I thought Macedon questions were really great - I went with the Philip question so I didn't have to do anything on Alexander, and I also went with the Persia question. I feel like I was stronger on Macedon but the Greek side went quite well

I only used two sources (Plutarch and Thucydides) in the 20m so I hope that wont affect the mark

It said the first 10 years of the Peloponnesian War, which is 461-451, but the question is worded rlly badly and tbh im not sure iver answered it correctly

I did 461-451 cos the question said the first 10 years of the Peloponnesian War, which technically started in 431, but tbh im not sure ive done it correctly cos most people did what you did

Agh, now i’m super scared cause yes the first pelo war was 460-446. The question felt quite ambiguous though they really could've given us exact dates so hopefully they’ll accept either 🤞

How far was Philip's army reforms at the beginning of his reign the main reason for his success?

(something like that)
I don't know what the second question was, but it mentioned Gaugamela

20 marker was about Philip's ambition. The source was either Diodorus or Justin (I think Justin, but I don't remember 100%)

Sorry this isn't much help lool.

i think i worded my post wrong lol i mean the questions for the relations between greek and non greek states 492-404 BC bit not the period study questions, dont worry if you cant remember them tho

OH, no that's my fault lool I saw "oh they want the 30 marker side" and proceeded to give the 36 marker side lool oops.

Anyway

30 marker was on 'How consistent was Persian action and policy from 492-432? How far do the sources support this view?'

Idk the other one

20 marker was on the causes of the Peloponnesian war. Focused a lot on the Megarian decree. Idk the extract but the historian was Hornblower.
