How long and when should I start revising UCAT?

Background:
- Started UCAT prep in November after sixth form head advised starting 8 months early.

- Used Medify during 2 free periods a week, completed 1,000 questions, scored 1850 (~2500 old scoring), Band 1 SJT.

- After 4 months, hit a wall experienced severe burnout that affected A-levels and every other aspect of my life (brain fog).

- Stopped revising in late February; last 2 months were unproductive, zero motivation.

- Haven’t touched UCAT since now feel butterflies in stomacheven thinking about it.

- I think burnout came from not seeing enough progress, despite putting in effort.

- I am good at problem solving and GCSEs were good, so should probably be doing better than I was doing.

Questions
1. Now what is the best time to start revising UCAT? I want to ensure I don't burnout which I know would affect test results

2. Tips on all sections especially VR, I am a very slow thinker and struggle to finish in time?

3. Please tell me that I'm not the only one who makes insanely slow progress?

ok so i revised like 2 weeks in advance (i know, i know) and only got a 2650 because i panicked during, even though i was getting a 2800-2900 on mock exams. My best advice is to start after your a levels? or if youve done those, then start now but dont bangout just think of it like a game.

you wont really run out of thigns to practice - just have fun with it. its like how people practice iq tests, and also just know you will not be able to do each question to your best standards. best to be slower and get the ones u do right, than to guess a ton of them and get none right!

anyway retaking my ucat bc i got no offers lolol so we're in the same boat after my a levels, when are you booking urs?

Hi thank you so much btw. Just a few more questions actually. So firstly would you recommend like revising around 5 weeks before the exam? And how intense do you think I should do. Should I do around an hour a day?

an hour a day is supppperrrr feasible
i think now u only have like 3 modules instead of 4? i think they took away AR. id practice a mock of one module every day, for example do the verbal reasoning one on one day, do quantitative the next day blah blah
if you fancy doing mroe do more, but do minimum one module a day.
you can start 5 weeks before defo, or earlier. Honestly you'll never be completely ready just make sure ur nerves are cool for the day! lmk when u start bc ill probably be revising too lol, i suck at it
