Environmental Sciences Assignments

Hi, I'm thinking of doing the integrated Environmental Sciences course, M05. I'm just wondering what the assignments are like. Are they essay based and structured similar to something like History degree essays? Or are they more like exams and tests? Thank you.

Hiya! I'm an OU student studying a CertHE Open, specialising in Mathematics, Statistics and Natural Sciences/Env Sci 🙂
While you may be required to do some field work/observations, much of the lab work will be done online. One example you may do at the beginning of the first year to help you get used to doing these online assignments is a weather observation, where you are given real-time data from the OU's weather station. You will be taught how to write up your results, and this assignment is done as a team of 4-6 (optional).
There are some assignments that you may have to do at an OU facility, however, I do not know if M05 has this. It is best to contact the OU about that.
