Medicine clearing advice

Has anyone got into medicine through clearing? I am praying that KCL goes into clearing again for their gem course at Portsmouth. I assume that clearing into gem is the same, if not similar, to the A100 courses. I would really appreciate some advice on the whole process, especially the interviews. I am a little confused by it
