Maths A-Level content cover q - 2 weeks?

Hello,
when should we aim to have completed all maths edexcel a level content?
Is it ok if we finish the content around 2 weeks before the exam (not with school)?
Is it possible for a person to still get an A*? - if after content they have been doing loads of questions, topic tests etc and then after they complete all the content they start doing loads of past papers?

Hi grace!

I would say it’s definitely possible to get an A* even if you finish the content around 2 weeks before the exam!

But it does depend on a few factors:

- how much revision and practice exam papers you are doing and how consistent you are with this

- make sure the last two weeks before your exam you focus in on the areas you really struggle at and do lots of practice papers

- it depends on how good your foundational knowledge of maths is as understanding basics makes it easier to process other areas and gives you a confidence going into your exam!

-how good your support group is and how you use it: for example, having a tutor, studying with friends and family helping you out with areas to quickly address the gaps in your knowledge

In all honesty, most students tend to finish the content 3 or 4 weeks before the exam but not to worry!! Make sure you really focus in but don’t burn yourself out and be refreshed for your exam! If you want it enough and work hard enough for it I’m sure you will do it ☺️

Let me know if I can do anything else for you and good luck you got this!
