Congratulations to your offers.

The course contents, rather than the title, matter. Look into the course modules to see which uni suits you better.

You will face very high living costs if you go to LSBU or UEL (private accommodation over £1k, or even £1.5k per month). Try to get an uni outside London if you can. Good luck.

Hey, congrats on your offers! 🎉
I’ve looked into both LSBU and UEL before Here’s a quick breakdown:

LSBU is in central London, so it’s great for part-time jobs, networking, and easier commuting.

UEL has a newer campus, and the FinTech pathway is a nice option if you're really into tech + finance.

BA vs BSc?
Honestly, most employers don’t care if it’s a BA or BSc. What matters more is accreditation (like ACCA, CIMA) and the skills/experience you gain.
Fees (for international students):

LSBU: £14,000/year £42,000 total

UEL: £13,500 (year 1), £15,560 (years 2 & 3) £44,620 total

So LSBU is cheaper overall. London can be expensive, but loads of students manage by working part-time (up to 20 hrs/week allowed on a student visa).
Final thoughts:

Go with UEL if you’re really interested in FinTech and that specialisation matters to you.

Choose LSBU if you want a strong, general accounting course in a central location with slightly lower costs.

Hope that helps good luck choosing! 😊

These are both quite similar degrees and the cost difference is small but not insignificant. If you're really interested in fintech, it may be worth paying for but I expect you'd be able to get some fintech exposure anywhere - check the course content/flexibility for taking classes outside of your direct degree programme

As far as jobs go, BSc can be slightly preferable in a CV review for certain jobs but probably not accounting-focused ones and since we don't know what your career aspirations are I can't say anything for sure. In any case, the postnomial does not make a big difference for job prospects so I wouldn't focus on it too much
