Biomedical engineering summer prep UCAS

I’m going into my 6th year of secondary and I want to begin strengthening my eventual application into university by doing extra courses or volunteering in summer.

I would like to know what there is that I can do to achieve my goal and make my application stand out.

Hey so what you need to do is just general volunteering but to make it stand out you can do teaching via volunteering. You can put it in your personal statement and say you want to pass on this info to the younger generation after you learn biomed. But if I’m being honest as long as you have the grades the personal statement is not a big thing. But still make it good and include all the achievements you have got so far. Hope this helps

I’m doing this because I’m stupid and don’t think I got good grades

Then the best thing you can do over the summer is to ask for some extra work/revision to work on to help you improve your grades
