Recommendations for a laptop (Medical Student)

I’m going into my first year of med school this September and was wondering which laptop is the most recommend for a med student as well as ideal memory and storage, I know most people say a MacBook Air/Pro but I’ve heard they sometimes don’t run certain softwares correctly

im not in med school (yet), but i have a lenovo ideapad and it works alright. i got it last year, so i don't know how it'll turn out to be long term.

what medical school have you selected as your firm choice?
