Halls fees Bangor

When will Bangor talk to me about the payment plan for the room I have chosen in halls? Is it after I get my place on results day?

There's little point in arranging a payment plan until their absolutely certain you're going to attend, which won't be until after results day. Technically, it won't be until you register/enroll, as you could still change your mind prior to then.

You can pay for accomodation fees in full on arrival, or at registration. Alternatively, you can pay in installments via credit/debit card. If you're a UK undergraduate, you can opt for three installments (October, January, April) or seven (monthly, October to April).

You can find further details in their web site here and here.

After results day, assuming you meet your offer conditions, you'll likely receive a plethora of information from the university. That will include how to pay for accomodation by installments.

Thanks for answering @DataVenia.

@FinHughesMac you will receive all the information following results day, but if you would like to know a little bit more before that to ease your mind, you can always contact the halls office who will be happy to answer your questions. [email protected]

All the best to you
Thanks
Ffi 🙂

Hi I’m sure I talked to u before about zoology? It’s great people answered but I get it they are being very vague and telling you to go to the website. Basically once you’re accepted, chose your accommodation, you will be given an email address and temporary password for the accommodation portal, where when you select your accommodation, you put in all your payment details (best to look for a student bank account now or ASAP) where you put in that bank account on the portal, they usually take it out the day u receive your student finance it comes out automatically! Then once everything has been properly set up, you will then be given your email account on (mybangor), to then sign in chose your modules, address, where you can check payment schedules via “mytutor” on mybangor then click finance, it gives you the breakdown of what you pay entirely. I will say that make sure you set it up properly to avoid any confusion, keep checking your emails for accommodation acceptance, then with that they should basically give you you’re mybangor email address, temporary password around 1-2 days after you have been accepted into Bangor or you have accepted them on results day. I wish you all the best

Yes! But u will only receive everything if you accept them, so it’s not ohh u got on let’s send everything to him. It’s after you and the university enter into a contract, which is you accepting them as well.

I have seen you have made quite a few threads on here about Bangor. If you have any more concerns please say and I’ll do my best to answer it, saving you making multiple threads. Even if you don’t have any questions, do you have any concerns that you might think would be a concern later on. I’ll gladly answer
