house accommodation or flat accommodation for first year at uni

Hi, I recently booked my accommodation for university, its in a house with 15 people but I'm not sure if ill be missing out on the halls experience? the house is in the middle of the accommodation area and seems great, if anyone has stayed in a house first year instead of halls any advice would be appreciated!

guys i thought booking doesn't start till after u get results except if youve got unconditional i guess

think it depends on the uni, for uni of Sheffield its been out since march where you can book the actual room. a lot of unis do it where you submit preferences and they allocate you a room after results day
