Can i transfer into Edinburgh uni.
I have the grades AAABB in maths, comp, phys, human bio, chem respectively. Now edinburgh has always been my first choice but I got rejected (electronics and computer science, AAAA requirements). I got an offer from Strathclyde, computer and electronic systems. Would it be possible to do great in first year and my advanced highers could I have a chance to transfer into 2nd year of edinburgh uni?
To transfer you normally need:
- to meet the standard year 1 entry requirements
- to study compatible courses
- to get good results in year 1
If you don’t meet the standard entry requirements for year 1 then you are unlikely to be accepted into year 2.
