University of Southampton House for 2025
I have a contract for a room next year at 84 Sirdar road and recently decided I won't be at southampton next year, does anyone know of anyone who needs accommodation next year, it's around 5 minutes from Highfield campus and is cheaper than halls. Or if not how I can get out of my housing contract ??

Hi @Ewanrudhdhd,
That can be an annoying situation to be in. You could put up an avdert on the SUSU housemate finder. This page allows students to place posts asking about availble rooms or share that they are looking for a room. You will be able find details abut the individuals posting and contact them through private messaging. The SUSU housemate fider can be quite useful and I have personally found current housemates through it. Please be aware that any documentation you have signed regarding the contract may likely need to be re-signed with the new person's name on.
