Lots of eyewitness reports being heard on the news at the moment, no note at all regarding the motivation behind this incident at such an early stage. Police are asking for the opportunity to investigate and to send them any information to aid their enquiries.

From two videos in particular that are circulating online, we'll be very lucky if no one was killed. A number of people must have been very seriously injured at the very least. I have some very close friends who were just round the corner from where it happened. Absolutely horrifying.

Let me guess: "Motive remains unclear".

2 hours after the incident happened, yes.
I'm sure we will know more soon and I'm sure you will agree that what's important now is the safety and welfare of all those who were there this afternoon and not starting to speculate with very very little information.

This is a strange comment. Do you expect police to confirm a motive when the suspect almost certainly hasn't been interviewed yet?

Our thoughts and prayers are with those Liverpool fans (and others) harmed by a potential terrorist.
I wish all the people who were seriously injured all the best and a quick recovery.

Just watching the police conference now. They're not looking for anyone else, it's believed to be an isolated incident and it's not thought to be terrorism related.
Not terrorism
No fatalities at present
2 people in critical condition
27 taken to hospital in total
A further 25-30 treated at the scene
Nobody else wanted in connection with this incident
4 of the people injured were children

I strongly suspect that this is terrorism, not only that but the early reports relating to the arrest will turn out to be inaccurate or misleading.

Southport was also "not terrorism", when it plainly was.

Children and babies are the worst. Are there any suspects for this action?

Yes, a 53 year old white British man has been detained - he was driving the car.

And what is about the reason for this crime, any confessions he made?

Nothing has been shared as of yet

It kind of just sounds like a Liverpool guy off his face on drugs tbh.
There is now a suspicion that the driver was under the influence of drugs, as this was one of the things he was arrested for. We also know he is from Liverpool.

11 people are still in hospital

Amazing isn't it how the ethnicity and nationality of the suspect are released immediately in some cases.

Pretty much has to be due to Tommy Robinsons etc who will instantly use it to lie and place others in danger.
