English Lit AQA Macbeth

In English Lit is it only ever going to be Macbeth or Lady Macbeth or one of the themes as being the question
I'm not sure if I should focus on just those or over characters as I have my yr 10 mocks soon and wondering if I should revise the rest
Please can somebody give me advise

It can be any character technically but it is extremely unlikely. I would keep focus on Macbeth and Lady Macbeth and the themes. There have been questions in the past comparing characters like Banquo to Macbeth but as long as you know all the character's actions well enough to compare them to the things you know about Macbeth and Lady Macbeth you should be fine. If you don't know any quotes for that character you can mostly just use Macbeth and Lady Macbeth quotes and say if the character is similar or different. Let me know if you have any more questions.

i'd say mainly focus on macbeth and lady macbeth , maybe keep one quote for banquo and macduff. bc what one of our teachers said to us was that at the end of the day, the play is MACBETH, so they will only ever ask for something to do with the macbeths, if they ask another character like banquo u can js use the extract but all they want u to do is compare it to the actual macbeth characters, and then carry on talking ab macbeths. banquo macduff don't appear for that long plus english is not tiered so it has to be accessible. so basically u only rlly need to revise macbeyh and lady macbeth, but if u want some good comparison points eg ljke 'banquo is constructed by shakespare to remind the audience of macbeth's initial morality ' , then learn a quote for banquo and macbeth each

Maybe know one or two good ones just in case and make sure you know their characters but other than that you should be okay. Those two are mostly the opposite of Macbeth so as long as you can write about that it'll be okay.
