Missing Durham Offer

If I were to miss my Durham offer of A*AA and get A*AB and A* in my EPQ, would they accept it? Would they accept A*A*B too? I’m worrying about my performance in an exam and cannot stop thinking about it.

My course is also Liberal Arts which I don’t think is super popular but I’ve heard recently it really is.

Durham usually not very flexible with grades but it really depends on how everybody else holding offers for your course do. Nothing you can do but wait and see and have an insurance that you would be happy to go to. Concentrate on the rest of your exams.
Durham will only know how flexible they can be when they process other offer holders results.

Hey there, I am totally feeling the same way so you are not alone in worrying! It partially depends on your course, so it would be great to know what you are planning on doing? For example, I am doing law and they will not take into account my A* in EPQ at all. They also have a huge amount of international applicants. Also, it depends on which subject you were to get the B in, if you are doing English at uni but the B is in English, that will be taken into account. Hope this helps in some way!

Ah thank you sooo much, I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about it since taking the problematic exam 2 weeks ago. I’m doing Liberal Arts and am uncertain if it’s super popular or not, if you know? I’m not doing English as part of Liberal Arts either (As you choose multiple subjects within the course), I just did it for A-Level, if that changes anything. They won’t take my EPQ A* grade either, but I wonder if that changes come results day. Wishing you all the best of luck, so glad others are feeling the same!
