How long does it take to get allocated accomodation at UCL?

Hi, I firmed my offer for UCL a little while ago and applied for accommodation on the same day. Its only been a week but i know friends that got allocations within a few days. I think that my main worries are that I want accommodation near Bloomsbury campus as i have never lived in London, but I am seeing in a lot of other conversations that people in the same situation as me are being given accommodation on the est campus.

I'm probably just being impatient, but I want to know how long it took on average for other offer holders to get a room?

someone told me they give it out into july and start of august so might be a little bit of a wait icl, but getting ucl east depends what you put as room preferences and budget ig. litr in bloomsbury the whole time so not very ideal, im gonna try swap but its a bit difficult cos loads of ppl based in bloomsbury got ucl east and are also trying to swap so idk might need to look into private accom

Based on other responses, and my friends timelines, it seems to be 7 weeks, I applied first week in May so hoping to hear end of the week, start of next week.

For One Pool St, we decided to go have a look when we were in London for something else, the place and area is nice and the journey really is not that bad - its literally a 10 min walk each side to/from the Underground, and the underground journey is 14 mins - on nice new trains that are partially overground.

Ofcourse I would MUCH prefer to be in the Bloomsbury are, but at least I know what One Pool St is like.

Hi! I applied in mid May for my accommodation (over nine weeks ago) is it taking this long for anyone else or should I be concerned and contact someone at ucl?

I also sent mine in may and also haven't had any response but I did email the accomodation team and they said I should be patient as it's normal to not have a response until august
