📢 ATAS Application Update – 52 Days and Still Waiting
I submitted my ATAS application on 5th April, and today marks 52 days of waiting. What started as excitement is slowly turning into anxiety. I've been checking my inbox regularly, hoping for an update, but still nothing.
I'm beginning to wonder:
Has anyone else experienced such a long wait recently?
Has anyone received their ATAS clearance after submitting it post-5th April?
Hearing about your timelines or experiences would really help ease the uncertainty. Wishing the best for everyone who's in the same boat. 🤝

I also knew one student who submitted his application in the first week of april and also he still waiting

This is so frustrating. We are working hard to secure a funded PhD offer, and when we do, it all vanishes away because of this ATAS delay.

Yes. Now it seems getting an ATAS certificate is harder than securing a PhD offer. lol

Submitted application on May 18, received certificate by email on June 27. Have you guys tried contacting your schools to register the issue?

Yes, they have also chased but not much response. What is your course and nationality can I ask?

What's your university and course? And series of application number? I applied on 2 may
