Uni predicament - Next Steps Panic

Hi,
So really I'm just venting because I received some bad news today, didn't get accepted into a Dutch university, and I knew it was coming but it stings. Like yeah I got into the five UK Unis I applied to but this would have been perfect with my specific circumstance. Not to mention I applied to an art based program and I've always sort of felt like I'm not an artist, there's a word for it but I've forgotten, and this just hit that sore spot. I know I should be looking forward and shaking it off but it's slightly hard when its thrown my whole family's plans in the air. I'm trying to put on a brave face but I'm panicking.

I'm having problems with student finance which is due in soon, I haven't booked any uni accommodation because I was scared to do it in case I got into the other uni and now I'm scrambling to get something. I have gotten a place at like at a gap year provider Yip Yap to teach but that would mean staying where I am which my whole family is moving out from. My place there isn't even secure and I can't follow my family because they're leaving the UK and I'm slightly drowning. Not sure what people can do to help but I thought getting it out there might help me a bit.

TL:TR - Got rejected from a uni, it sent plans for my whole family in the air. Scrambling to get back on track with uni stuff like accommodation and finance. Not sure whether to take a gap year or try my best to get things sorted.

You can apply for student finance now even if you haven't decided which uni to firm. Just apply with your best guess as it can be changed later. It's also easy to cancel if you decide not to go this year. Unis differ as to when you can apply for accommodation, but rooms won't actually be allocated until after results day when they know who is going for certain. If you do need to apply now, check the terms and conditions re refunds (or not) of deposits.

Are you actually holding a UK offer or place for this September? Or deferred to next year?
