applying to optometry

i have predicted grades of abb and i want to apply to city for optom, preferably not the intro 1 year course. is it worth applying as their offer is aab? im not contextual.

City = AAB (including two from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics).

One higher grade choice is worth the risk - you might get an interview - but make sure your other UCAS choices are more realistic, and that you include at least one choice with entry requirements well below your predicted grades.

thanks, im a bit confused because on the ucas website it says abb is the most common grades held by accepted students

These 'stats' are totally misleading. They are based on an average of the grades that were accepted on Results Day - and not when people applied - and you dont know why any of them were accepted below-offer, and if that applies to you. Never, ever, rely on these stats to decide where to apply.
