crash higher chemistry or advanced higher english??

in s5 i took higher maths, english, design and manufacture, biology, and modern studies and im thinking ive gotten maybe AABBC or AABBB. for s6 im crash highering admin, business, rmps, and psychology as i’ve heard they’re all relatively easy, however id like to challenge myself in sixth year and im stuck between crash chem or adv english? idk what career path id like to go down all i know is i deffo wanna go uni and id like to expand my classes so i have a wide range of careers to choose from. is there any advice on what to take as im really unsure. ive never done chem before but im also not sure which courses would actually value adv english so im pretty stuck. any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!!

I would say do Advanced Higher English so you are not crashing too many highers but it does depend on how much you like English, if not then go for Higher Chemistry as there is no point studying a subject you don't enjoy. I hope this helps!

Does your school have a guidance counsellor you could speak to? It might be worth talking to them or a teacher about this, and perhaps trying to figure out at least which vague area you want to go down in the future (eg stem, humanities) so you don’t accidentally close off any options you might regret later on
