question for a career in law

Ive recently received an offer to study Law with business at the university of Exeter to which I have firmed this option. I have also received an offer from Cardiff to study law but I decided to decline this. As my insurance choice, I have selected the university of Law to study law with business.

I was hoping if you guys could offer some insight into whether attending a Russel group university is seen as a major factor when working within the legal field or whether this is something that has changed in recent years.

Thank you for your time and support!

Hi Amy_42018!

Thank you for your question! Whilst Exeter graduates are some of the most targeted by employers, not attending a Russell Group university is not the end of the world! There are many legal practitioners across the country that have attended non-Russell Group universities, some didn't even study law at undergraduate level! This is personal opinion, however, I feel like employers will look towards your extra-curricular activities, commercial awareness and passion for the career, just to name a few. Both the University of Exeter and the University of Law provide great career prospects, it's equally a question of which course suits your needs and interests best!
