alevel politics- synoptic links

ik its super close to the exams, but my teachers necver told me what synopotic links r and how to use them. i need an a* in politics. i loosely know what synoptic links r but i have no idea how to use them. do they just need to be a brief acknowledgement of the topic or does my whole evaluation point have to be based around it. Like if i was talking ab arguments for and against devolution, do one of my against points have to about low turnouts to devoloution referdums from paper1 or can it just be one sentence? also, once i make the link, should i say in brackets (link to paper 1 turnout)

It can just be ‘brief’ but obviously ensure it is fully explained

Also you don’t need to say it’s a link to paper 1 the examiner will know and pick it up without you having to explicitly point it out to them with the whole brackets thing
