Absolutely. I'm doing maths econ French and got both offers this year thankfully. Ik a lot of other ppl who got in without philosophy or further maths, which btw will be a nice bonus for u, especially for ucl who require an a star in normal maths. Definitely. A levels in philosophy are not especially helpful for degree-level philosophy. Our philosophy course leader said 'please try and forget what you learned in A level if you took it' and was not trying to be funny

Since neither of those subjects are essay-based subjects, just make sure you're willing to read and write more

Economics should be fine as long as you are comfortable with maths and are enjoying A level economics. Likewise though, don't expect too much A level economics to apply to degree level

Hi I was wondering what your stats were as I’m not sure if my school would be able to predict me an Astar in maths, also what did u focus on in ur personal statement
