I assume you've looked-up Loughborough's entry requirements for Economics and Finance BSc (Hons) degree, here? They say:

"A minimum of 5 GCSE grades 9 - 6 (A*-B) including minimum grade 6/B in Maths and English Language".

Universities tend to be inflexible with regards to GCSE requirements. As a result your grade 4 in English Language is very likely to prevent them making an offer. Sorry. :frown:

Edited to add that as you have a grade 7 in English Literature, it's probably worth contacting their admissions team to see whether they'd consider that in lieu of the required English Language grade.

As above, check with Loughborough as often Eng Lit will meet the English requirement.
If it doesn't, then talk to your school about resitting Eng Lang in November or next June - getting a higher grade is usually straightforward, and Unis dont mind this sort of resit. You would just enter this GCSE as another 'pending qualification' alongside your A levels, and any offer would include this as an extra condition.

I have emailed them about it but I am not too worried about it anyways. Thank you.

You're "not too worried about it" because you're confident they'll accept your English Literature grade in lieu of the requested English Language grade? Or because you have plenty of other universities you can apply to who'd be happy to accept your English Language grade?

As in they were not my priority options I don't mind replacing them.
