Did the maintenance loan actually go up in NI?
Apparently the maximum maintenance loan for Northern Irish students living away from home outside London is meant to have gone up to £8,132 this year. However my letter and email confirming how much student finance I'm entitled to says the maximum is £6,776 which is the same as last year. Has anyone else encountered this? The student finance NI and NI Direct websites both state £8,132 as the new maximum maintenance loan. Wondering if I'm actually entitled to more than they've given me, if the maintenance loan has even gone up at all or if I've just completely misunderstood how the 20% increase was to be implemented. Please help lol
